1) When will the sequel to The Adventures of Cinnamon Persimmon be released?

A) That question gets asked more than any other question! There WILL BE a sequel! The working title is Furry Tails: Cinnamon Takes a Vacation. This release will officially launch the Furry Tails Children's Chapter Book Series! You will see some changes in the second book, which Tristan hopes you'll like. However, more details on that book will be shared with you later on as publication information is made available.

2) Is Cinnamon a real poodle?

A) Yes! Cinnamon is a real apricot-colored toy poodle. Most of the things that happened in the book are real but some are creations from the writer's imagination.

3) Will Tristan Perry write more poodle books?

A) YES! She will continue writing about poodles in a series called Furry Tails. By buying and reading the book, you make that happen. Tell all your friends and family about The Adventures of Cinnamon Persimmon and the Furry Tails series!

4) Who came up with the name Furry Tails?

A) Tristan's husband. He suggested the word tail since poodles have furry, puffy pom-pom tails. It's a play on the word tale.

6) Has Tristan written other books?

A) YES! Fall 2008, a publisher from Wever Iowa, Quixote Press, will release Tristan's very first ghost story book! The book is called Ghostly Legends of the Appalachian Trail. It's about ghost stories around the Appalachian Trail, a footpath that spans over 2,000 miles from Maine to Georgia. Tristan loved writing this book because she likes being outdoors and hiking. The book may be ordered through Quixote Press (319-372-7480), your local book store, through Harvest Dreams, or purchased at gift shops near the Appalachian Trail and Blue Ridge Parkway.

B) Tristan's dissertation studies conducted through Virginia Tech was printed as a scientific book in February 2008! The book is about Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and occupational stress. VDM Verlag Dr. Mueller is the German publishing company releasing her research work. 7) Does Tristan read?

Absolutely! In order to be a good writer, one must read and see how other authors use words to form thoughts and ideas and to create characters. Tristan likes to read medical thrillers and books that emphasize geographical settings.

8) What book has influenced Tristan the most with her own writing?

The Bible. It is the greatest book ever written. Although it was written a long time ago, it is a book that applies to today's life. Tristan finds the Bible uplifting and instructive.

The Nancy Drew series inspired Tristan as a girl. She enjoyed reading the series and hopes to read it again one day.
